The Camp Gilead River Run 5K is a fun run/walk to help raise money for camper scholarships.  Each year Camp Gilead helps many children attend summer camp through its scholarship program.

Shirts

All PRE-REGISTERED runners will receive a long-sleeved t-shirt. Shirts for late registrants and day-of-race registrants are included while supplies last.

Race Bibs & Shirt Pick Up will all be at Day Of Race Check- In.

KIddie marathon

*NEW* this year:  Kiddie Marathon for kids up to 5 years oldOur youngest runners will run around the “office” loop – the same loop our campers run during the epic “marathon” race during the summer camp obstacle course.  They will run ONE lap and all participants will receive a finishers prize and a t-shirt (for the first 100 kids registered on the day of race). 

Pancake Breakfast

Included in race entry fee.  Additional breakfast tickets may be purchased for $5 per person ($20 family maximum).

Prizes

Medals & prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers per division  & gender. Prizes awarded at the Pancake Breakfast.

PARKING

As you arrive at Gilead on Monday, the morning of the race, parking attendants will assist you in parking onsite. 

Distance/Course

The course begins near the camp chapel and continues from Gilead, across the bridge and along the river and surrounding country roads, looping back along the river to finish near the chapel. Course is mostly flat & paved.  Chip timing will be provided by BuDuRacing.
